Dr. Dilara Zahid earned her PhD in Sociology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
She is the author of the book titled Disaster and Vulnerability: Evidences from Monga, A. H. Publication, 2018. She has published research articles in various journals including American Journal of Sociological Research, Bangladesh e-Journal of Sociology, and Social Science Review of University of Dhaka.
Her area of research interest includes Child Protection, Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Management, Gender Mainstreaming, Cultural Globalization and Food security in Bangladesh.
